NATIONAL SQUAD   2010

Do you or your athletes want to have the support of a great team of people to help them become an even more successful athlete?

After a huge success in 2009, we are now looking forward to helping, supporting and developing even more athletes throughout the country to reach their ambition of becoming even greater athletes, and maybe even one day, England’s finest International athletes.

We again open our doors to “any” member of the association, who would like to join us, and try out for one of the places in any 3 of our groups.

We have the “International England Team “which is open to any athlete of advanced/ elite level, with strong team skills. If you would like to work at International level, and have a real passion to compete as part of the England Team for the 2010 “world championships” in Norway next year. If you are a strong candidate and you have the skills to help make the England team the best it can be…………..

YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU!

We have the group, which are athletes of an intermediate /advanced / elite level who are developing their individual and team skills, and will be working together to become  part of the England Group for the European championships in 2011. If you have the drive to work hard, develop your skills and commit to help make the England group the best it can be ………….……

YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU!

Both our Team and Group are supported in their training by International Coaches and a team of dedicated BBTSA qualified Coaches.

We work not only on team skills, but a variety of baton, dance, body strength and flexibility, compulsories and short programme, and much more!

We also have a fantastic opportunity for some of our younger or lower level members of the association to join, if they would also like to be a part of the BBTSA National Development Squad.

The development squad’s key priority is to give our athletes a chance to develop and learn new skills by working with different coaches, to help and support them at a time when they need as much encouragement as they can. We promote great technique; have dance and body flexibility classes, all types of baton and body classes, and Team and Pair work too. We promote the Grading Awards, and will have an opportunity for our Squad members to take regular Grade Awards, having examiners and coaches available at our sessions too.

We would also like to invite coaches along to be part of the squad – so if you feel you can coach in any of the above areas, whether you are very experienced or very new we would love to have you working with us!
